So often weight problems come from comfort eating or as a way of (Mis)dealing with other problems.
You can be sure that if you can identify what is causing you to overeat and deal with that the weight will take care of itself.
Commitment therefore is essential and it may be that we need to build the self confidence of people to enable them to believe that you can make and sustain those changes.
This is a different approach to your weight loss desires than you get from the pills and diets route. If you have tried that method and either not lost or have lost then come back bigger it is time that we got together to work on it in a different way.
The second prong of this is to deal with the Grehlin issue, we need to help re-programme the subconscious to alert you when you have eaten enough and secondly to find other ways of enabling you to find comfort, rather than comfort eating. We also need to change the template “ideal image” that is in the subconscious so that it matches the image you, in your conscious mind, have because while those images differ there will remain a conflict and the subconscious will always win.
